The Seckman High Library Media Center is pleased to offer assistance to students with research and book recommendations, as well as wi-fi and device connectivity issues.

The media center is open from 7 AM until 2:30 PM. Students are welcome to visit the library before school, during AIM, lunch, and with a pass from their teacher.

2016/17 New Immunization Requirements

8-12th grade students need a Meningococcal Vaccine.
All students must have 1 Tdap & 1 Meningococcal vaccine to be considered up to date. No schedules will be issued until verification of vaccines is received.

House Bill 300: 2014-15 Annual Interscholastic Head Injury Report



MSHSAA has released its annual Interscholastic Youth Sports Brain Injury Report regarding the impact of student athlete concussions and head injuries and the efforts that have been made to minimize damages from school sports injuries on the MSHSAA website. This report is located by going to www.mshsaa.org and then going to the SPORTS MEDICINE TAB.

For more information about a summer ACT boot camp being held June 6th-9th from 6 pm to 8 pm in the south city area. 

WHAT WILL STUDENTS GET OUT OF THIS ACT BOOT CAMP?
* 4 practice tests - 1 for each subject area (English, Math, Reading & Science)
* Handouts covering strategies and tips for each subtest
* Q & A session following each test with a trained ACT coach
* Registration and cost information is available on the website

Did your child not get to take ACT Prep during the school year due to scheduling conflicts or other reasons?  It's not too late!  Here is a summer ACT opportunity for them.

For more information about a summer ACT academy being held July 18th-28th in the south county area. 

This academy is designed for any student going into their junior or senior year or any sophomore who has completed Algebra II. These students should be planning on attending a 4-year college directly out of high school.

Students will be able to learn and apply specific test-taking strategies to various types of questions on all 4 of the A.C.T. subtests. 

Students will be taught by trained ACT coaches and will receive two ACT workbooks to keep for future review. Registration and cost information is available on the website.
