CONGRATULATIONS to Seckman High Teacher, Jordan McGaughey!

Jordan was named Seckman High School's Teacher of the Year, and then went on to win the distinction of Fox C-6 District Teacher of the Year. Recently, he was awarded St. Louis Regional Teacher of the Year. He is currently among 30 candidates for Missouri State Teacher of the Year.

The Seckman High Library Media Center is pleased to offer assistance to students with research and book recommendations, as well as wi-fi and device connectivity issues.

The media center is open from 7 AM until 2:30 PM. Students are welcome to visit the library before school, during AIM, lunch, and with a pass from their teacher.

2016/17 New Immunization Requirements

8-12th grade students need a Meningococcal Vaccine.
All students must have 1 Tdap & 1 Meningococcal vaccine to be considered up to date. No schedules will be issued until verification of vaccines is received.

House Bill 300: 2014-15 Annual Interscholastic Head Injury Report

MSHSAA has released its annual Interscholastic Youth Sports Brain Injury Report regarding the impact of student athlete concussions and head injuries and the efforts that have been made to minimize damages from school sports injuries on the MSHSAA website. This report is located by going to and then going to the SPORTS MEDICINE TAB.

The 2016-2017 school year begins on Wednesday, August 17. The staff of Seckman High School wishes all of our students an awesome, safe summer and we look forward to seeing you next year!!

As you prepare to return to school, here are a few basic items to include on your shopping list:

* Pens and #2 pencils
* Notebooks and/or loose leaf paper
* Folders
* 3-ring binders
* Index cards
* Highlighters
* Agenda/planner

Teachers will have individual lists of requested supplies for particular classes that will be available once school begings.

August 8 - Schedules & Lockers (Seniors: 8 am - 10 am, Juniors: 10 am - 12 pm, Sophomores: 1 pm - 3 pm)
August 9- New student registration, 9 am - 12 pm, 1 pm - 4 pm
August 10- Freshman Welcome, 10 am - 12 pm
August 10- New student registration,  1 pm - 4 pm, 5 pm - 8 pm
August 23 - Open House
